FC Union Berlin coach Steffen Baumgart sings Harry Kane’s praises

by admin

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is utterly unstoppable this year. So is the rest of the squad.

So what is an opposing coach supposed to do when faced up against the Bavarian juggernaut? FC Union Berlin head coach Steffen Baumgart is the latest person to take on the task, and he singled the England captain out for praise among Bayern’s star-studded cast.

“Harry Kane is a player who’s mainly judged by his goals,” Baumgart said in pre-match press conference comments captured by @iMiaSanMia. “But I think what’s really working in Bayern’s favor right now is the quality of Harry Kane’s passes and the way he plays them. I’ve rarely seen a striker who can develop into such a complete player. I take my hat off to him. It shows that there’s no age limit for development.”

Kane has been playing exquisite passes from his position as striker back to his Tottenham days…but he certainly has kicked it up a notch this year for Bayern.
