France saw off Ukraine via a 4-0 win to clinch qualification to the World Cup next year. Les Blues have one more match left to go, against Azerbaijan, and France coach Didier Deschamps plans on rotating heavily for this match. This means, some of Bayern Munich’s starters will get a day off:
Both Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano are expected to be given a rest by Didier Deschamps against Azerbaijan tomorrow, having already secured World Cup qualification. The coach will give a chance to the substitutes to prove themselves ahead of the World Cup.

Olise and Upamecano staying fit will certainly help Bayern wade through the 2025/26 season.
Germany is also on the verge of qualifying for the tournament proper, only needing to beat Slovakia in Leipzig. Both teams are level on points, but Germany has the edge based on goal difference. Whoever wins this match skips the play-off round and goes straight to the group stage.
