Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is nearing his return to action after a gruesome injury sustained against Paris Saint-Germain at last summer’s Club World Cup. But the club is being scrupulous about just how quickly they bring him along, according to a report from Sport Bild.
The initial plan was that Jamal Musiala would make his comeback before the end of this year, but the club is not putting any pressure and does not want to take any risks with him. There’s no final decision yet on whether Musiala will be back in December or January. The most important thing for everyone involved is that he would be at 100% during the decisive phase of the season starting from March and then at the World Cup in the summer [@altobelli13, @cfbayern]
Slow-playing it could be wise. Musiala has next summer’s Men’s World Cup to look forward to, but the Bavarians are playing great without him. And the last thing he and the club need right now is a potential setback. Why not wait out the Winterpause?
