Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany inked a contract extension last week, but now the club has to update the respect deals for his assistant coaches and staff as well.

“I have a coaching team behind me that does very good work and has the same mentality. Everyone’s just there for our players,” said Kompany (as captured by FCBayern.com).

As such, sporting director Christoph Freund acknowledged the need to tie up those loose ends and get the assistant coaches and staffers new contracts.

“It’s an important thing that the head coach feels good, trusts his team. So, it’s our goal to extend with the entire backroom staff soon,” Freund stated.

The comfort of Kompany now comes into full focus and there is little doubt that the club will find a way to make it all work with the rest of the staff
