Bayern Munich center-back Jonathan Tah was recently asked how difficult it was to make the jump from facing the likes of Paris Saint-Germain on the club circuit to playing Luxembourg (no offense) with the German national team.
Tah said that it was not that hard.
“To be honest it’s not difficult. Regardless of the opponent, we as Germany players have to perform at our best on the pitch. That’s our ambition, as individual players and as a team. So it’s not difficult,” Tah said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The follow-up question turned to Germany’s ability to qualify for the World Cup and if the defender was concerned: “No, to put it bluntly.”
While Luxembourg might not like reading all of that, Tah seems like he is lasered in on the task at hand, even if it might be more difficult without both Joshua Kimmich and Nico Schlotterbeck.
