According to a report from RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Paris Saint-Germain will be a big participant in the bidding for Bayern Munich center-back Dayot Upamecano.
PSG was considered to be on the periphery of this potential transfer, but now looks to be fully involved:
PSG will make an offer to Dayot Upamecano if he decides against extending his Bayern contract. Real Madrid have contacted the player’s entourage. Bayern are still in active negotiations with Upamecano’s representatives but no agreement has been reached yet.
While the report does not layout a timeline, it can be assumed that if Bayern Munich and Upamecano do not have a deal in place by the end of this calendar year, PSG could be well-poised to swoop in for a January contract proposal with the aim of securing him for the summer of 2026.
PSG should be considered a big threat.
